The sub-brand Huawei held today in China the presentation of the new flagship smartphone line Honor V30.
What is known
The line includes two devices: Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro. The devices have the same appearance and almost identical characteristics.

The smartphones were equipped with “leaky” IPS displays on 6.57 inches with FHD+ resolution. A dual selfie camera of 32 MP + 8 MP was installed in the hole. The main module supports night shooting mode, and the additional module boasts a viewing angle of 105 degrees.

Regular Honor V30 is powered by Kirin processor990, which comes in conjunction with the Balong 5000 modem. The Honor V30 Pro has a 5G modem built into the chipset. The new products were equipped with a triple main camera, which was called Matrix Camera. The main sensor is Sony IMX600 40 MP with Dual OIS and laser autofocus. True, in the case of the Honor V30, the module’s aperture is f/1.8, while the Honor V30 Pro has f/1.6. The second wide-angle lens is also different. In the younger model it is 8 megapixels with f/2.4, and in the older one it is already 12 megapixels and f/2.2. The third module is the same: an 8 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS.

Smartphones are available with 6/8 GB of RAM, 128/256 GBROM, side scanners, like Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro, as well as 4100 mAh (V30 Pro) and 4200 mAh (V30) batteries. In both devices, the battery supports fast charging at 40 W, wireless at 27 W and reverse charging at 7.5 W. The new products run on Android 10 OS with Magic UI 3.0.1 shell.
Price and when to wait
Sales of Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro will start in China on December 5. There will be four body colors available: Charm Starfish Blue, Dawn Orange, Magic Night Star River and Icelandic Fantasyland.
