Honor X10 Max 5G: large 7-inch IPS display, MediaTek Dimensity 800 processor, stereo speakers and price tag from $ 269

Honor held an event in China today where it announced a new smartphone in the Honor X10 line.

What is known

The device received the prefix Max in the name andboasts a large 7.09-inch display with an IPS matrix and FHD+ resolution. Unlike the regular Honor X10, the new product received a display with a drop-shaped cutout, on which an 8 megapixel front camera was placed. The screen supports 100% DCI-P3 and HDR10 color space. Its maximum brightness reaches 780 nits. By the way, instead of a traditional RGB panel, the Honor X10 Max is equipped with an RGBW display. The additional W (white) subpixel reduces the panel's power consumption when displaying white. The screen frequency in a smartphone is standard - 60 Hz.

The device is running an eight-coreprocessor MediaTek Dimensity 800. The chip comes paired with 6/8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of ROM, and a built-in 5G modem. The main camera in the smartphone is triple: a 48 MP main sensor, an 8 MP wide-angle lens and a 2 MP depth sensor.

Honor X10 Max is powered by a 5000 batterymAh It charges via USB-C and supports 22.5W fast charging. Among the features of the new product, it is also worth noting a side fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers with a smart sound amplifier and support for Huawei Histen 6.1 technology.

Out of the box, the smartphone is equipped with Android 10 OS and a proprietary shell. The NFC module is present in the device. There are no Google services.

Price and when to wait

Sales of the Honor X10 Max will start in China on July 3. By the way, the smartphone is the successor to Honor 8X Max, which was released two years ago.
