How games will work entirely on AMD: with a powerful processor, but an average graphics card

In one of the episodes on the YouTube channel ShadowSevenran 11 modern games on a PC with a Ryzen 7 5700X processor and an AMD RX 6600 8GB graphics card. Projects were tested in 1080p resolution. Games included God of War, Elden Ring, Red Dead Redemption 2, Stray, CS:GO, Days Gone, Rainbow Six Siege, Valorant, Control, Fortnite, GTA 5.

INGod of warwith the ultra-preset and FSR Off, the average performance was 58.5 fps.At the same time, the maximum was 68 fps.

Elden RingIts average FPS was 59.5 fps, the maximum was 61 fps.

Red dead redemption 2On average, the frame rate was 74 fps, and the maximum performance was 83 fps.

On high graphics settings inStrayOn average, we managed to get 126.5 fps, and the maximum - 194 fps.

CS: GOThe average frame rate in this game was 497.5 fps.At the same time, the maximum productivity was 829 fps.

Days gooneThe average frame rate in the game was 90.5 fps.The maximum was 111 fps.

Rainbow six siegeThe average performance in this case was 322.5 fps, the maximum was 358 fps.But on the ultra-graphics with FXAA in this game, the average frame rate was 250.5 fps.

The project was launchedValorantwith high and low preset. In the first case, the average performance was 353 fps, in the second – 369 fps.

ControlI was running on high graphics settings. The average FPS in the game was 87 fps, the maximum – 99 fps.

INFortnitewith a low preset and DX12, performance averaged 269 fps. The maximum we managed to achieve was 315 fps.

GTA 5ran on very high settings with MSAA X4 and Advanced Settings Off. The average frame rate in it was at 125 fps. The maximum achieved in this game was 146 fps.

Conclusion

Average frame rate in 11 modern gamesThe Ryzen 7 5700X + AMD RX 6600 8 GB build was 206 fps. The best average performance was in CS:GO (497.5 fps), the worst – in God of War (58.5 fps).
