How global warming affects the number of suicides

A group of scientists from the US Environmental Protection Agency discovered an unusual effect of climate

changes on people. It turned out that they are able to change the level of suicides.

As part of the study, experts have developed a special model. It included data on suicide rates, projections from six climate models, and population projections.

As a result, it turned out that a warming of only 1-6 degrees Celsius has every chance of increasing the number of suicides by 283-1660 cases per year. This, by the way, is 4% more than in 2015.

Recall that earlier in August 2022An international research team has noticed that the consequences of global warming may be more catastrophic for humanity than previously thought.
