How much you need to train a day to live longer: scientists called the exact figure

Just 11 minutes of moderate physical activity a day can reduce the risk of early death by 23%. To such conclusions

scientists came after analyzing data from more than 30million adults. If every person on the planet spent time doing even a little physical activity every day, it would prevent one in ten early deaths worldwide.

Study published in the British Journalsports medicine is the largest of its kind. Using 196 previously published research articles, scientists from the University of Cambridge have uncovered a link between low physical activity and the risk of early death from heart disease, stroke, leukemia and colon cancer. Participants were followed up for an average of 10 years.

A new study found that just 75 minutesPhysical activity per week, or 11 minutes per day, is associated with a 17% lower risk of cardiovascular disease. The same amount of physical activity is associated with a 7% lower risk of cancer.
