How does automatic start of training work inwatchOS5
The function is enabled by default, but if you have disabled it for some reason, it is enabled inSettings->Main->Training. Here you need to click on the switches next toStart Workout ReminderAndEnd Workout Reminder.
At the moment, the function works only with the following types of training:
- Run
- Walking
- Swimming
- Elliptical trainer
- A ride on the bicycle
When you start moving, Apple Watchautomatically recognize the movement and determine what type of activity you are doing. After a couple of minutes of training, the watch will know for sure, and you will receive a notification reminding you to start tracking your training.
You will also see several options available for one type of workout. For example, when running, you can choose to run on the street or in the gym. By clicking on the notification, the Training screen opens.
