Not sure how to control AirPlay audio on iPhone and iPad from iOS 12 or iOS 11? You are not alone, because the open AirPlay interface is not so
Fortunately, we are there, and today we will tell you how to manage AirPlay audio through the Control Point in iOS 12.
How to manage Airplay at iOS 12
The AirPlay column must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone or iPad so that the devices can detect each other.
- Turn on the music on your device.
- Open Control Point.
- Hold the music control icon (or use 3D Touch).
- Now click the AirPlay icon in the form of a pyramid signal.
- Choose your AirPlay receiver or several from the list of available ones.
In the list you will find your AirPods, HomePod, AirPlay speakers, Apple TV and other devices.
When you select a device, the audio will begin to be transmitted to it. You can select multiple devices at once and transfer audio at the same time.
Many users did not realize thatthe AirPlay control interface is separated by only one long clamp in the Control Point. In previous versions of the system, there was a separate icon for AirPlay, so with the release of iOS 11 and iOS 12, many users began to get confused.
Speaker Airplay not is displayed?
Sometimes the AirPlay columns may not be displayed in the Control Point, but this does not mean that they cannot be used anyway.
Sometimes these columns are displayed in third-party services like Spotify. Most likely, a systemic bug is to blame.
If you also encounter a similar problem, you can use an application like Spotify to select your column for audio output. Unfortunately, there is no other way.
