We will use the Chrome browser on Mac, but the method will be the same for PCs with Windows and Linux.
How to disable a new design Chrome 69+
1. Open a browser and paste the following link into the address bar:
chrome: // flags / # top-chrome-md
2. Search for “UI Layout for the browser’s top chrome.”
3. Open the menu next to “UI Layout for the browser’s top chrome” and select “Normal”.
4. Restart the Chrome browser to apply the changes.
When Chrome opens, you will see the old classic design. Here's what it will look like:
And here is what the new design looks like:
The method will be exactly the same for PCs with Windows and Linux. As you can see, everything is very simple. You can return a new design at any time or select another in the menu.
