Save backup

Step 1: Connect your iPhone or iPad to your Mac or PC and open iTunes.

Step 2: In the top menu of iTunes, click on the icon of your iPhone or iPad.

Step 3: ClickCreate a copy now. If you want an additional level of security, please check the box next toEncrypt backup ...This will save sensitive data such as:passwords, Health app data, HomeKit accessory information, and logins. By choosing this option, you will make things easier for yourself during recovery. This copy is protected by a password, which can be saved in Keychain.

If the iOS 12 update does not appear in Settings, you can download it via a direct link, and then install via iTunes. To do this, it is best to use the latest available version of iTunes.

Step 1:Connect your iOS device to your computer using a USB cable. Wait for iTunes to detect your device.

Step 2:Click your device icon in the iTunes menu.

Download the update file for your model bylink provided in this article. It will weigh about 2GB depending on the model of your device. It’s best to download the file through the Chrome or Firefox browser.

Step 8:iTunes will download and install the system update on your device. The process may take different times depending on your internet connection.

Step 9:Do not disconnect the device from the computer until the process is completed. During the process, the device may reboot once or twice. After this, you will see the usual startup screen.
