Luca Todesco has finally released the latest version of Yalu jailbreak supporting iOS 10.2. Jailbreak is unstable and does not support iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus.
If your device does not support this jailbreak, then it is best to avoid using Yalu Jailbreak iOS 10.2 and wait until Luca adds support.
If you are not going to wait for the release of a stable version of Yalu, then this instruction will help you jailbreak iOS 10.2 on supported devices using Yalu and Cydia Impactor.

Please review the following points before proceeding:
- This jailbreak is compatible with the following devices:
- iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone SE
- iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPad Pro
- iPod Touch 6
- Yalu Jailbreak does not support the following iOS 10 devices:
- iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus
- Jailbreak only works on devices running iOS 10.2 and above. If you have iOS 10.0.1 – iOS 10.1.1 follow these instructions.
- The jailbreak is semi-tethered, the principle of operation is similar to the jailbreak of Pangu iOS 9.3.3.
- Make sure you have a backup of your device through iCloud or iTunes.
- Make sure the device is sufficiently charged to complete the jailbreak process.
- If the jailbreak does not work properly, you will need to restore your device to the latest firmware, currently iOS 10.2.1.
How to jailbreak iOS 10.2 using Yalu Jailbreak and Cydia Impactor
Step 1:Download the latest version of Cydia Impactor from here and the Yalu Jailbreak IPA file for iOS 10.2 from here. At the time of writing, the jailbreak IPA file is called yalu102_beta4.ipa.
Step 2:Double-click to open Cydia Impactor.

Step 3:Connect your iPhone or iPad to your computer using a USB cable.
Step 4:If Cydia Impactor finds your device, it will appear in the drop-down list as shown in the screenshot below.


Step 5:Drag and drop the Yalu IPA file onto the Cydia Impactor window.
Step 6:You will be prompted to enter your Apple ID and password. This information will be sent to Apple and will only be used to sign the IPA file.
Step 7:Once the application is installed, you should see an icon on your home screen with the name “yalu102”.
Step 8:To run the application, you must first verify the developer profile. To do this, go toSettings -> Basic -> Profiles and deviceand click on the profile corresponding to the Apple ID you entered in Cydia Impactor.
Step 9:Click the “Trust” button.
Step 10:Return to the home screen and launch the applicationyalu102.
Step 11:Click the buttonGoto start the jailbreak process. Do not touch the device until the process is complete.
Step 12:The device will automatically restart and Cydia should appear on the home screen. If this does not happen, open the yalu102 application and perform the jailbreak process again.
Congratulations, your device is jailbroken!When you first launch it, Cydia will take some time to complete the initial setup. Once this is done, you can start using it, but keep in mind that you should use only compatible tweaks to avoid launching issues. We will soon publish a list of tweaks compatible with iOS 10.2 jailbreak.
Also, this jailbreak is semi-tethered, which means that every time you reboot your device, you will have to launch the Yalu app (yalu102) and re-jailbreak it.
If the jailbreak on your device is having problems, then the best way to remove it is to restore your device to iOS 10.2.1.
