How to recover deleted standard applications on iPhone or iPad

You can remove standard applications from the iPhone and iPad, and it’s very important to know how to reinstall them. It's possible

do with any standard application, including Calendar, Calculator, Compass, Contacts, FaceTime, Files, Mail, Maps, Music, Notes, Weather, etc.

Restoring standard applications is as easy as any other. You just need to download them from the App Store.

If you want to try it yourself, you can remove any standard application from your iPhone or iPad, and then follow the instructions below.

How to restore a standard application iOS

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Go to the Search tab and enter the name of the application you need.
  3. Find the standard application in the list of results and download it.
  4. Repeat the same with all standard applications that you want to restore.

All installed applications will appear on the main screen as usual. In our example, it was a calculator application.

You can delete standard applications in the same way as regular ones, but the function has appeared relatively recently.

* Check that you download the standardapp, because now the App Store is placing ads at the top of the list of results. In addition, the results may include third-party applications with similar icons and names. The standard application developer will be Apple.

Only you decide if you need standardapplications. For example, you can uninstall the Music application in order to get rid of auto-play songs in the car or to install an alternative like Spotify.
