HP buys gaming accessories brand HyperX: what is the price

HP announced a deal with Kingston and the purchase of its HyperX division.

division producing solid statedrives, DDR4 and DDR3 memory, USB flash drives, as well as gaming headsets and gaming accessories. But after the purchase, HP will only receive gaming peripherals, while gaming DRAM, flash memory and SSD will remain with Kingston.

The deal will cost HP $425 million. It is expected to close in the second calendar quarter of 2021, but is still subject to regulatory approval.
