HTC Desire 23 Pro: a powerful middle peasant from the legendary brand

After selling most of the mobile business that formed the basis of the Google Pixel team, Taiwanese company HTC

practically dropped off the radar.However, ultra-budget smartphones from the Wildfire series, developed and sold by third-party Chinese vendors, continue to be released under its brand, and it continues to support a single line, releasing a new product from the Desire series once a year. Last summer, HTC released the Desire 22 Pro based on the Snapdragon 695, and is now preparing its sequel.

An entry has appeared in the Bluetooth SIG database aboutHTC smartphone with indices 2QC9200 / 2QC9100 / 2QCB100. As always, the agency does not say anything about the characteristics of the smartphone, but indicates which Bluetooth module is installed inside: this time we are dealing with the Qualcomm FastConnect 6700. This chip is used in the well-known Snapdragon 778G, 778G +, 782G and 7 Gen 1 chipsets , as well as in 6 Gen 1, which has not yet been found in any smartphone model. Obviously, one of these processors will become the basis of HTC Desire 23 Pro; either way, we'll see a significant performance boost over last year's model. Whether HTC will keep the unusual features of the device (water protection, reverse wireless charging) is still unknown.
