HTC is still alive: the company is preparing a mid-level Desire 20 Pro smartphone

It seems that HTC, despite the long black streak, is not going to leave the smartphone market.

Insiders say that the manufacturer is preparing a new model.

What will it be

Codenamed Bayamo, the device is set to debut on the commercial market as the HTC Desire 20 Pro. It looks like the smartphone will replace last year's Desire 19s and Desire 19+.

The new product has already appeared in the GeekBench database with an 8-core Qualcomm processor (possibly Snapdragon 660 or Snapdragon 665), 6 GB of RAM and Android 10 OS.

According to sources, this will not be a flagship, but a mid-range model.

In terms of design, the front panel will resemble the OnePlus 8 with a hole-punch screen, while the back panel will resemble the Xiaomi Mi 10 with a vertical main camera. They promise a 3.5mm headphone jack.

When exactly the HTC Desire 20 Pro will be announced is still unknown.
