HTC Wildfire E2 Play: a large smartphone with a 6.82-inch display, a quad camera and a Unisoc T606 chip

HTC recently announced a new smartphone with the technical characteristics of a budget device - HTC Wildfire E3

Lite. Now the company is back with a new and slightly more powerful model - the HTC Wildfire E2 Play.

Specifications

The smartphone features a massive 6.82-inch IPSdisplay with a waterdrop notch, a resolution of 720x1640 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Inside there is a Unisoc T606 processor, which is paired with 8 GB of RAM. The 128GB storage can be expanded using a microSD card.

There is an 8MP front camera for selfies. The main camera consists of four modules: a 48 MP main sensor, a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2 MP macro camera and a 2 MP depth sensor.

The smartphone runs under the operating systemAndroid 12 systems. The 4600 mAh battery supports 10W charging. Other specs include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C port and 3.5mm audio jack.

Unfortunately, the cost of the HTC Wildfire E2 Play is unknown at the moment. Although it has rather strange characteristics, the smartphone will most likely fall into the mid-price segment.
