Huawei and Honor have updated 6 smartphones to Android Pie with EMUI 9.0

A month ago, Huawei promised to release EMUI 9.0 firmware for three of its models and three of the Honor sub-brand. And so

Finally, smartphones began to receive the latest update, albeit belatedly.

Who updated

The beta version of the firmware has already been received by the owners of fivemodels, mostly budget ones. These are Honor Play 7X, Honor 9 Lite, Honor 9i, Huawei Enjoy 7S and Huawei Enjoy 8 Plus. But Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus will have to wait a few more days - until April 17.

To get EMUI 9.0, you will have to tinker a little: install the proprietary HiCare application and select Upgrade Early Adopters in the OS menu.

Let's remember, EMUI 9.0 is based on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system. They promise a password manager that recognizes the user by face or fingerprint and enters the necessary passwords itself, gesture control, adaptive battery and screen brightness, as well as GPU Turbo 2.0 technology, which improves performance while gaming.

By the way, recently Huawei released a beta version of EMUI 9.1 firmware for the flagship Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 RS and Mate 20 X.
