Huawei began to close branded stores across Russia

Chinese Huawei, despite all its problems in recent years, maintains its representative office in Russia.

New items come to Russian retail differentlyoften, as we would like, but the chain of stores continues to operate. However, as RIA Novosti reports, citing its own sources close to the company, Huawei has begun to close its sales points throughout the country. Thus, since February 28, stores in Moscow, Novokuznetsk, Ufa and Rostov-on-Don have been closed, and their total number has decreased from 19 to 15. The numbers are not particularly impressive yet, but RIA’s interlocutor believes that this trend will continue in the future.

Note that in April, Forbes wrote that Huaweisent on vacation the Russian office engaged in the supply of telecom equipment, and also reduced the marketing department. If the information about the closure of stores is confirmed, then this will be a continuation of one chain of events. Huawei has not commented on this yet.
