This is reported by a source close to the Russian office. The first store in Moscow was closed on February 28. Since then, divisions in Ufa, Rostov-on-Don and Novokuznetsk have stopped working.
Now Huawei in Russia has 15 out of 19 leftshops. The main reasons for closing outlets were the lack of products and falling demand for smartphones. In May of this year, compared to May 2021, 26% less smart phones were sold in the Russian Federation.
Huawei is reported to continue to closestores, but there is no talk of leaving Russia yet. Huawei does not officially comment on the issue of a possible withdrawal from the Russian market, nor on information about the closure of stores.
