Huawei is preparing by the end of the year budget 5G smartphones up to 10 thousand rubles

Today everyone is focused on 5G, even though fifth-generation networks will be closer in prevalence

to 4G in a few years, manufacturerssmartphones are being prepared in full swing. Some experts believe that there are practically no growth areas left, smartphones have nothing left to brag about, there are no new technologies, new models offer everything old, but in a new way. The only technology not covered is 5G, which is what companies that need to maintain high sales volumes are now relying on.

When the 5G era comes

5G, in fact, just born, stateextremely unsteady, these networks are available in a very small number of regions, that is, the vast majority of users do not have access to fifth-generation networks and will not have it for many more years. However, there are more and more models of smartphones with 5G support, however, they are still incredibly expensive. Today, a 5G modem in a smartphone is a function that is not just optional, it only interferes because it consumes more power, it is expensive, but it does not give users any advantages over owners of 4G smartphones. What services do ordinary users need at these speeds? These do not exist yet, and 4G is enough even for streaming video in high resolution, files are downloaded as fast as with a wired connection. But Are such large files needed on a small smartphone?

Cheap 5g

And yet in a couple of years this function will manifest itself, and for many it will become a necessity, as 4G networks now. The head of the division developing 5G modems, Huawei, said that cheap smartphones with support for the fifth generation of cellular networks up to $ 150 will go to world markets by the end of this year. A very optimistic forecast, a smartphone up to 10 thousand rubles can afford a large number of people. Perhaps this will give an impetus to the faster deployment of networks around the world.

And more recently, the advent of 4G smartphonescosting $ 100 from Huawei, Xiaomi and other Chinese companies, have created almost a revolution in the markets of developing countries. Take, for example, the Indian market - Chinese manufacturers have literally given hundreds of millions of people access to fast Internet.

As for 5G, here for the industrysmartphones are nothing complicated, the chipset just changes to the appropriate one, and the device is already becoming ultramodern. If we are talking about the top Snapdragon processors, then for most users they are too inaccessible - expensive, and few people need excessive power. Manufacturers are forced to look for decent, cheaper alternatives. Huawei was lucky in this regard, since it has launched the release of its own processors, in which at any time the company can add support, at least 5G, at least 6G. The rest of the market will now rely on affordable processors from MediaTek, which has also developed its own chip set with support for fifth-generation networks.

MediaTek's Dimensity 800 processors area great choice for budget smartphones that support 5G. Most likely, Qualcomm will also be able to introduce low-cost chipsets with new technology this year, for example, Snapdragon 765. Huawei 5G is needed as air for smartphones to buy. It’s not so easy to transfer users to the Chinese platform from Android, but with new smartphones, inexpensive and with 5G support, they can gradually promote their Harmony OS, and then the sanctions will not hit the manufacturer so much.
