Huawei is preparing to release a laptop with its own replacement of Intel processors and without Windows

There are rumors that Huawei is preparing to release a Qingyun L410 laptop with its own ARM processor and control

Chinese Linux distribution UOS. No Intel or Windows.

According to sources, the laptop will be basedon the MateBook 14 model. The processor here will be SoC Kirin 990. This sounds quite strange, because the chipset is already old. As for the rest of the characteristics, we only know about the 14-inch diagonal screen.

The interesting thing is that UOS is a state-ownedoperating system. It was created as part of a strategy to abandon American software. Huawei already has PCs running a Linux distribution, but they have not gone on sale outside of China.

Sources claim Huawei will unveil the laptop in March 2021.
