Huawei is preparing to release MateBook 13 and MateBook 14 2020: laptops with 2K displays, Intel Core i5 / i7 chips and an NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics card

Huawei is set to unveil two new laptops at the end of the month at MWC 2020 in Barcelona: MateBook 13 and MateBook 14

What is known

Chinese insider shared specificationswith the nickname Digital Chat Station. According to the leak, the junior MateBook 13 model will have a 13-inch 2K display with a 3:2 ratio and a frame thickness of 4.4 mm. The new product will receive two versions: with an Intel Core i5-10210U chip or an Intel Core i7-10510U chip. Both will work with an NVIDIA MX250 graphics card. The laptop will also be equipped with 8/16 GB of RAM, 512 GB PCIe SSD, a fingerprint scanner, two USB-C ports, a headphone jack, fast 65-watt charging and a case with a thickness of 14.9 mm and a weight of 1.32 kg.

The older model MateBook 14, in turn,will be equipped with a 14-inch screen. This version will receive the same chip and memory modifications, a cooling system with one large cooler, more ports (1 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 2.0, 1 x HDMI, 1 x USB Type-C, headphone jack) and a larger battery.
