Huawei Mate 40 5G on renders: a huge camera with three modules, an unknown sensor and a "leaky" display with small curves

The first high-quality images of the flagship smartphone Huawei Mate 40 5G have appeared on the Internet.

What
Known

Renders of the device were created by insider OnLeaks togetherwith the publication Handsetexpert. The device, according to the leak, will have a glass body, a design similar to last year's Mate 30 and the following dimensions: 158.6x72.5x8.9 mm. The most significant change in the new product is a huge round cutout for three main camera modules and an unknown sensor. Externally, it resembles a LiDAR sensor, like in the iPad Pro.

As for the front side, the devicewill receive a 6.4-inch display. It will have slight curves around the edges, an in-display scanner and a cutout for a dual selfie camera. Interestingly, on the top edge of the new product you can see two sensors. There is no information yet about what they are needed for. Perhaps one of them is an infrared port for controlling equipment.

The Huawei Mate 40 5G should come with Android OS and EMUI proprietary shell. It is definitely not worth waiting for Google services in the device.
