Huawei Mate 50 Pro has already been unpacked on video and compared with Mate 40 Pro

Although sales of the newly introduced flagships of the Huawei Mate 50 series will start only on September 21, some Chinese

reviewers have already received copiesnew products and are in a hurry to share their first impressions. The older Mate 50 Pro comes with a black box, inside which there is also a 66W charger and a USB-C cable. In comparison with its predecessor, one can note a reduced “chin”, although the bulky “bang” with 3D ToF face scanner.

The rounding of the waterfall screen has become noticeably smaller,and the case itself is thinner (8.44 mm versus 9.14 mm). On the other hand, the protrusion of the camera block has become 0.4 mm higher. However, this is a worthy compromise for the introduction of variable aperture, which has become a key feature of the Mate 50 family: the video demonstrates the difference in depth of field in practice.
