Huawei MateBook X 2020: 3K display, 10th generation Intel Core chip, touchpad with pressure recognition and price tag from $ 1155

Huawei, as promised, announced today in China the updated ultrabook MateBook X 2020.

What is known

The new product received a thin metal body (13.3 mm) with a weight of only 1 kg, and a 13-inch diagonal IPS touch display with a resolution of 3000x2000p and an aspect ratio of 3:2. The screen, according to the company, occupies 90% of the entire front panel. What’s interesting is that the new product is equipped with a 10-point touchpad that recognizes pressure. Under the hood of the MateBook X 2020 there is an Intel Core i5-10210U/i7-10510U processor. It is paired with an Intel UHD graphics accelerator, 8/16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD storage.

The device is also equipped with a fingerprint scannerfingers, stereo speakers, a front camera that hides under the keyboard, a 45 Wh battery with 65-watt fast charging, two USB-C ports, and a headphone jack. The laptop comes with the Windows 10 operating system.

Price and when to wait

Huawei MateBook X 2020 will start selling in China24 August. There will be four colors available: Frost Silver, Interstellar Blue, Green Mountain Daisy and Cherry Blossy Pink. It is not known when the new product will appear on the global market.
