Huawei Nova 6 SE: simplified flagship with Kirin 810 and camera, like the iPhone 11, for $ 312

Today, Huawei introduced not only the flagship Nova 6, but also its light version - Nova 6 SE.

Design

The simplified version has a 6.4-inch IPS display withwith a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels, the fingerprint scanner is still on the side, and the front camera is not dual, but with one 16-megapixel module, which is located in a circular cutout embedded in the display.

The main camera is also different - it is made inin the form of a square, in the style of iPhone 11. And there are not three modules, like Nova 6, but four: a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor (f / 1.8), an 8 MP wide-angle camera (f / 2.4, 120 degrees), a 2-megapixel sensor depth and 2MP macro module.

What's inside

The top-end Kirin 990 processor was replaced with the mid-budget Kirin 810. With it, in conjunction with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM. Storage can be expanded with a memory card up to 256 GB.

A capacious 4200 mAh battery with support for 40 watts fast charging is also installed. There is Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5 mm headphone jack. But NFC, alas, no.

In China, they are asking for $ 312 for the new product, which is $ 140 less than for the Nova 6. Sales will start on December 25th. There are black, pink and green colors to choose from.

But whether Huawei Nova 6 SE will be released outside of the Middle Kingdom without Google services is still unknown.
