Huawei Nova 7i: global version of Nova 6 SE with Kirin 810 chip, 48 MP quad-camera and without Google services

In early December, Huawei announced the Nova 6 SE smartphone in China, and now the company has released it globally

market with a different name - Nova 7i.

What is known

The device is nothing externally or in terms of characteristics.different from its Chinese counterpart. It has a 6.4-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and a hole in the left corner for a 16 MP front camera. The smartphone is also equipped with a scanner on the side and a 4200 mAh battery with support for 40-watt fast charging.

Huawei Nova 7i runs on the proprietary eight-core Kirin 810 platform. This is the first smartphone with such a chip on the global market. Until this moment, devices based on it were released only in China.

The new product comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM. The device also has a quad camera with a 48 MP Sony IMX586 main sensor, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0 and a headphone jack.

NFC-module and Google services are not delivered. Instead, they installed HMS (Huawei Mobile Service) with the App Gallery app store.

Price and when to wait

The smartphone has already begun to sell in Malaysia for 256 US dollars. When the device appears in other markets - is unknown.
