Huawei Nova 8 became the first smartphone of the company, which received the shell EMUI 12

Huawei recently introduced the new EMUI 12 shell. As it turned out, in parallel the Chinese manufacturer

showed the smartphone that received it out of the box.

What kind of model

We are talking about the global version of the Huawei smartphone.Nova 8, which was presented in Malaysia and several other countries. The device received a glass and metal body, as well as a 6.57-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Under the hood of the new product, a proprietary Kirin 820E chip was installed. By the way, in China the device comes with a different processor - Kirin 985. The SoC is paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM.

The new product also received a main camerawith 64 MP + 8 MP (wide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth sensor), 32 MP front sensor, and a 3600 mAh battery. It charges via USB-C and supports 66W charging (60% in 15 minutes). As we wrote earlier, the smartphone works with a pre-installed EMUI 12 shell. It has a new interface, an updated control center with the Device+ function, a new MeeTime application, as well as improved performance, security and privacy.

Price and when to wait

The new product has already begun to be sold in Malaysia and some other countries for $450.
