Huawei P30 Pro coped with JerryRigEverything better than its predecessors

Blogger Zach Nielson, author of the YouTube channel JerryRigEverything, finally got to the new one (albeit belatedly)

flagship Huawei P30 Pro and conducted his signature “extreme” tests for it.

How did you do it?

Like all modern smartphones, the protective glasscovering the display and back panel of the device is scratched by materials with a hardness level above level 6 on the Mohs scale. The glass above the under-screen fingerprint scanner, accordingly, is also scratched, but the sensor works well, despite the “damages.”

But the lighter left “scars” on the display. The pixels above the open fire burned out and never recovered. The screen temporarily stopped responding to touches, but after rebooting the smartphone it started working again.

Zach's most interesting test is definitelytest of strength. No matter how he tried to bend the Huawei P30 Pro, the body remained straight and the display remained without a single crack. And this is despite the fact that the screen in this model was curved on the sides.

It turns out that Huawei worked on the mistakes and made the new flagship stronger, because its predecessors P20 Pro and Mate 20 Pro failed this test.
