Huawei P40 Pro showed on video

Huawei published a 15-second advideoof their new P40 Pro on the Chinese social network Weibo.

As usual, the teaser doesn't show us much. We can only get a few hints about the upcoming flagship: a few glimpses of the phone's curved corners and edges and a side view of the camera bump.

Huawei P40 Pro

As with the iPhone generation camera modules11, Huawei P40 will have a two-level camera bump with a slight offset between the two levels. To remind us that this is a camera-first company flagship, Huawei has added #VisionaryPhotography at the end. But we don’t yet know how good the photos of the new product will be.

Note that another one was also published earlier.leak that reveals the entire color palette of the new line. If you look closer, you will see that this image shows three different smartphones. The difference is at the level of a rectangular camera module cut into two parts. For one of the models we have 5 different camera sensors, one of which is visually periscopic, we recognize it by its rectangular shape. Most likely P40 Pro.

The second model is most likely P40 Lite, its camera modulesimpler and only includes three sensors. The last model is hidden at the other end of the image. This is Huawei P40, its camera module includes 4 sensors, including a periscope sensor that seems smaller than the P40 Pro.

The Chinese brand will present gray, black, pearl white, blue, pearl pink and sandy yellow colors of the cases. However, it is not yet clear whether all these colors will be sold in all markets or not.

P40 Pro will ship with a Kirin 990 chip with5G connectivity, more RAM than you will ever need, and an OLED display with a frequency of 120 Hz. Samsung is currently working to provide users of the Galaxy S20 with a frequency of 120 Hz with a resolution of Quad HD, but it seems that the latest flagship of Huawei will be able to do this right out of the box.

In addition to the impressive rear camera assembly, hintsindicate that the P40 Pro will have a front camera with a triple lens. It will likely include wide and ultra-wide cameras and a depth sensor for the best bokeh effect on your selfies.

The phone will be officially announced on March 26, but, as with the previous Huawei flagship, it will also not have the Play Store due to conflicting relations with Google.
