Huawei P60 and P0 Pro will receive support for 5G, despite US sanctions, due to a special cover

At the end of March, Huawei introduced its flagship P60 smartphones. The line includes the Huawei P60, P60 Pro and P60 Art models.

All of them are equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip without 5G, but this problem is being solved.

What is known

Soyealink, one of Huawei's sub-brands, in the pastdeveloped a case with an integrated 5G modem for Huawei P50 Pro. Now the company has made an identical accessory compatible with Huawei P60 and P60 Pro. The Art version was left behind.

The case connects to your smartphone via USB-C.It has overall dimensions of 167.5 x 77.8 x 13.8 mm and a weight of 53.5 g. The accessory is equipped with a UDX 710 chip based on two Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of 1.35 GHz. The model supports FDD-LTE, TD-LTE and 5G.

The cost of the 5G case was $115. Whether the company plans to release such an accessory for the Huawei P60 Art has not yet been specified.
