Huawei promises that in a few years HarmonyOS will compete with iOS

about the company's plans for its own operating system HarmonyOS.

What are the plans

Recall, HarmonyOS introduced in early August, just in the midst of a trade war between the US and China, and amid US sanctions imposed on Huawei. It can be used on any type of device, be it a smartphone, TV, smart watch, etc. TVs were the first “swallows”.

At the presentation, Huawei representatives promised that HarmonyOS would work outside of China. But so far, smartphones are in no hurry to change Android (albeit open source) to HarmonyOS.

However, Ren Zhengfei is sure to "strengthen"HarmonyOS will need 2-3 years, and in a few years it will be able to seriously compete with the most popular operating systems on the market, including iOS from Apple.

At the same time, the head of the company emphasized that Huawei will continue to use Android and hopes for "friendly cooperation" with Google.
