Huawei sales fell catastrophically over the year

Counterpoint researchers have released a report on the smartphone market with data for the fourth quarter of 2020 and overall

whole year. It became clear who was leading the market and how Huawei's affairs worsened under US sanctions.

During the fourth quarter of 2020, Apple shippedalmost 82 million iPhones. The company's share was 21%, which made it the leader. Samsung is in second place with a 16 percent share (it shipped 62.5 million smartphones).

Realme, surprisingly, shipped 65% more smartphones in 2020 than in 2019, making the company the fastest growing smartphone manufacturer in the world.
