Huawei with the help of Yandex wants to launch its voice assistant in Russia

The partnership will allow Huawei to enter a new market, and Yandex to promote its technological solutions,

That Huawei will launch a voice assistantCelia in Russian, Italian, German and Japanese, in addition to the already available English, French and Spanish, became known last week as part of the annual Huawei Developers Conference. 

Voice assistant Celia, which is still availableOnly in the UK, France, Spain, Chile, Mexico City and Colombia, can perform daily tasks, make phone calls, set reminders and check the weather.

The partnership is being discussed, a source in the voice technology market confirmed to the newspaper. Yandex and Huawei declined to comment. 

Conversational AI developer Just AI estimatesin November 2019, over 50 million people used voice assistants in Russia. 45 million resorted to Alice's help, 8 million people - Apple's Siri, 7 million people - Google Assistant.
