Hubble Telescope Wishes You Happy New Year's Eve Photo From Space

The Hubble Space Telescope sent back to Earth a “New Year’s photo” shared by the European

space agency (ESA). This has already become a tradition.

What is known

The telescope captured part of the Westerhout 5 nebula, which is located 7,000 light-years from our planet. In the photo we can see multi-colored stars scattered on a bright red background.

Also worth noting is the traveling evaporatinggaseous globe. Such objects were discovered less than 30 years ago, when in 1995 Hubble took a picture of the "Pillars of Creation" (Pillars of Creation). Stars are born from them.
