Experts from the YouTube channel Casual Benchmark found out what kind of performance can be achieved in 10 modern games
In an episode on the Casual Benchmark YouTube channellaunched ten modern games on an MSI CX62 laptop with a GeForce 940MX. Among them – Sifu, God of War, Forza Horizon 5, Age of Empires IV, Life is Strange True Colors, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Valorant, Apex Legends, PUBG, Inside. Projects were tested in 720p resolution (except for Mass Effect Legendary Edition, which ran at 768p, and Inside – at 900p).
Sifuwent with a high preset. The average frame rate in it was 55 fps.
INGod of warat the lowest settings with FSR 2.0, the average performance was 12 fps.
Forza horizon 5launched with the lowest preset. In it, the average FPS was 28 fps.
Age of Empires IVwith a low preset it was launched with an average frame rate of 60 fps.
INLife is Strange True Colorsat the lowest settings we managed to get an average of 30 fps.
Mass Effect Legendary EditionI ran on low graphics settings with an average performance of 48 fps.
INValorantwith the low preset we managed to achieve an average of 90 fps.
Apex legendsran on the lowest graphics settings. The average FPS here was 46 fps.
With the lowest preset inPUBGthe average frame rate was 44 fps.

Conclusion
Average FPS of Geforce 940MX video card on a laptopMSI CX62 in ten modern games was 47 fps. The worst game was God of War (average FPS – 12 fps), the best – Valorant (average FPS – 90 fps).
