Wilk Elektronik, which produces various drives under the Goodram brand, presented a number of

new productsGoodram produces very interesting models of storage devices and memory with an attractive price-quality ratio. Everything is produced exclusively in the company’s homeland, Poland. And for memory chips Goodram cooperates with Toshiba. Along with the new models, the company presented its new logo at IFA:

Goodram has two main directions:“consumer” models and a separate gaming line IRDM. Actually, the gaming PC in the first photo is packed with three SSDs and four memory modules from this particular line.

IRDM Ultimate X

Perhaps the most interesting new product isgaming SSD IRDM Ultimate X. It is available in M.2 format, but the most interesting thing is the new high-speed PCI Express 4.0 connection interface, the throughput of which is twice that of PCIe 3.0. The company developed IRDM Ultimate X together with AMD, the drive is compatible with the AMD X570 chipset and the new Ryzen 3000 line processors. The drive uses four PCIe 4.0 lanes and supports NVMe. Inside are Toshiba 3D TLC NAND memory chips and a Phison PS3111-S16 controller. The drive will be available in 500 GB, 1 and 2 TB variants. They promise read speeds of up to 5000 MB/s and write speeds of up to 4500 MB/s for larger options; the 500 GB will have write speeds of up to 2500 MB/s. The number of I/O operations for random read/write will reach 750,000 IOPS (550,000 and 450,000 for the 500 GB version). An aluminum radiator is provided to cool the drive. IRDM Ultimate X will go on sale in November, approximate prices: 190, 290 and 590 euros for 500 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB respectively.

IRDM PRO SSD

Another new feature is updated solid stateIRDM PRO line drives with SATA interface. The main difference from the previous generation was the use of a different type of memory. Instead of MLC NAND, 3D TLC NAND is now used. And Phison PS3112-S12 is installed as a controller. The drives will be available in 256, 512 GB, 1 and 2 TB variants, with a maximum read speed of 555 MB/s and write speed of up to 540 MB/s. The model is expected to go on sale in September. Prices will be 50, 80 and 150 euros for 256, 512 GB and 1 TB respectively. There is no price for the 2 TB option yet.

IRDM PRO DDR4 3600 MHz

New IRDM PRO DDR4 RAM modulesoperate at a frequency of 3600 MHz. It is claimed that pre-selected best memory chips are used in manufacturing. The modules use eight-layer black printed circuit boards, and aluminum radiators are installed for cooling. Timings 17-19-19, voltage 1.2 V. Goodram is so confident in IRDM PRO DDR4 that it gives a lifetime warranty on the modules. Individual sticks of 8 and 16 GB or dual-channel sets of 16 and 32 GB will be available. They will go on sale in mid-October; estimated prices are still available for 8 and 2x8 GB, 42 and 84 euros, respectively.

IRDM UHS-I U3 V30

And another new model - a line of cardsmemory IRDM UHS-I U3 V30. As the name suggests, these are U3 V30 class cards, which means they are suitable for 4K UHD video recording. The cards are said to be extremely durable and can be written on 24/7. They are suitable not only for smartphones, cameras and quadcopters, but also for DVRs and CCTV cameras. Read speed reaches 100 MB/s, write speed reaches 70 MB/s. The cards are available in SD and MicroSD formats, with capacities of 64 and 128 GB. They will go on sale this month, with prices ranging from approximately 9 to 20 euros.
