In China for the first time tested a three-engine multi-purpose drone

A promising model of a medium-sized three-engine multi-purpose drone with a long flight range

created on the basis of the twin-engine Scorpion. According to representatives of Tengden Technology, the addition of a third engine will increase the reliability of the device and expand its capabilities.

Its length is 11 m, its wingspan is also 11m, the maximum take-off mass of the device is 3.2 tons, and the maximum flight altitude is 9.5 thousand meters. The developers specify that the UAV will be able to accelerate to a speed of 300 km / h.

The device is equipped with three piston engines -two with pulling propellers under the wing and one with a pushing screw in the tail. The drone is made according to a two-beam scheme. In the future, this device can be used for transportation of goods, reconnaissance or striking at enemy targets, fighting fires, meteorological observation and scientific research.

Earlier it became known that the Russian drone Altius-U passed new tests. Testing an experimental model of a promising drone was carried out by the Ural Civil Aviation Plant.
