In Europe with the update watchOS 5.2 for Apple Watch 4 added ECG support

With the release of the Apple Watch Series 4 smart watch, Apple introduced the function of reading an electrocardiogram.

Initially, it was only available in the United States, but has now launched in Europe.

What is known

ECG support was added with the watchOS 5 update.2 for 15 European countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. In the near future, the function should also work in Ukraine and Russia.

In addition to ECG, the new firmware has the ability toreceive notifications about sudden changes in heart rate (works on all generations of Apple Watch), support for updated AirPods, the Apple News+ service and several new watch faces for owners of a special version of Hermes watches.
