At the Vostochny spaceport in the Amur Region, the assembly of the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle began. This year she

should deliver into orbit the spacecraft of the British project of satellite Internet OneWeb.

Specialists have already begun preparing the compositeparts of Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicles. As part of this work, employees open containers with rocket blocks, remove the seal from the blocks, and transport them to the assembly and test building of the launch vehicle.

Soon, experts will begin electrical inspections on single blocks, and then they will begin assembling the launch vehicle package.

Recall, the goal of the OneWeb project is to provide high-speed Internet access throughout the world by 2027. The corresponding orbital constellation should include 900 spacecraft.
