Karakaev also noted that the Sarmat was created to be equipped with Avangard hypersonic warheads.
“The shorter the active part of the trajectory andbreeding warheads to achieve the required speed - the better the security of a given missile system. Today, the active part of the trajectory of the new missile system is one and a half times lower than it was, for example, of the Voevoda missile system,” Karakaev said.
