In social networks showed how astronauts have fun on the ISS

New video sharedEuropean Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Matthias Maurer shows four astronauts from NASA and SpaceX's Crew-3 mission last week as they checked their spacesuits. The video is set to the music of the Blue Danube Waltz by Johann Strauss II and shows the astronauts performing complex choreography as they float next to each other in zero gravity.

“In case anyone is wondering howastronauts checking their spacesuits,” Maurer wrote, sharing the video on Twitter. — We call it “waltz in a suit.” I think I'll miss microgravity and these antics with @Astro_Raja, @AstroMarshburn and Kayla."

Strauss' waltz "The Blue Danube" has a long history. For example, it was used by Stanley Kubrick in the 1968 science fiction film 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Also to this music Homer Simpson gracefullyhovered in a space shuttle while chasing potato chips in the 1994 episode "Homer in Deep Space." The iconic Strauss melody played in the background.

Maurer and his fellow Crew-3 members are NASA astronautsRaja Chari, Thomas Marshburn and Kayla Barron returned to Earth on May 6 on SpaceX's Dragon Endurance to complete a six-month mission to the ISS. The astronauts spent 176 days in space and splashed down off the coast of Tampa, Florida, USA.
