In the Play Market, viruses are disguised as "Squid game"

The hype around the popular TV series "The Squid Game" is not decreasing, which is successfully used by scammers.

Lucas Stefanko, malware researchersoftware for Android from ESET, reported that the Play Market has about two hundred applications related to the Squid Game. This includes malicious software that Google hasn't tracked.

One of the apps called Squid Gameis malicious software like Joker. The virus subscribes the user to paid services without his knowledge, using the account data. The program has already been disposed of, but before it was removed, it was downloaded more than 5000 times.
