The authors, referring to the Russian media, note thattroops will receive a Su-57 with a second stage engine already in 2022. They also drew attention to the fact that the characteristics of the aircraft equipped with a new engine are significantly improved.
Moreover, the American publication, citing Russian media, called the new Su-57 engine "the most powerful in the world" among the engines that have ever been equipped with fighters of this type.
At the same time, it is noted that now the F-119, which the F-22 is equipped with, is recognized as the most powerful engine for twin-engine fighters, while the F-35 received the most powerful engine for single-engine fighters.The Saturn 30 for the Su-57 will potentially be better than these engines.
