In the United States tested a ballistic missile interceptor: it hits the target faster

The United States launched a rocket from a mine at Vanderberg in California.

During the test, American

the military first tested a system in whichonly two of the three rocket stages are used. It is noted that such a system starts faster and hits targets. Even after launch, the technology will help to assess the situation again and make a final decision.

According to preliminary data, the military has achieved all the assigned tasks, but specialists have yet to check the telemetry for final conclusions.

During the tests, a mock rocket was used, and not a full-fledged sample, in order to reduce military costs.

As a result, the new system can intercept and engage medium and long-range ballistic missiles.
