In Windows 10, a full-screen advertising of a branded browser appeared

Microsoft is testing a new option that users probably won't like. Windows 10 plans to introduce

Advertising of the branded Edge browser on the entire screen.

Advertising will appear at one of the stages of Windows setup: either after the user logs in and installs all the required updates, or when he clicks on a new banner in the settings.

Microsoft has been trying to promote itsnew Edge browser. And these methods may seem intrusive. The banner in the settings, for example, says “get even more out of Windows”. Clicking on an ad will launch the OOBE screen. There is now also a new page called "Use recommended browser settings". If you click this, then Microsoft Edge will become the default browser, dock on the desktop and in the taskbar.
