India tested a stealth drone with a Russian engine

Together they experienced autonomousSWiFT aircraft. It has two interesting features. Firstly, the drone is a smaller version of another promising drone - Ghatak. Secondly, it was based on the Russian turbofan engine SWiFT, developed by NPO Saturn specialists.

It is reported that the flight was carried out on a testtest site at Chitradurga. At the same time, an anonymous source said that during flight tests, experts checked the ability of the drone to take off, maneuver and make an autonomous landing.

It is known that in addition to the past testing,engineers need to conduct 10 more such test flights. Upon completion, the Government of India will provide funding for the development of the Ghatak drone.
