Apple announced ProMotion technology withsupport for picture refresh rates from 10 to 120 Hz with iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max in 2021. In 2022, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models were released with screens that support frequencies from 1 to 120 Hz, as well as the Always-On Display function.
