In the latest episode of the Game Mess Decides podcast, famous journalist and insider Jeff Grubb told interesting
What is known
According to Grubb, despite the high interest of gamers in Hi-Fi Rush and excellent reviews from critics, Microsoft is unhappy with sales of the rhythm action game.
This was due to two miscalculations:
1. Absence of any marketing campaign. The game was released unexpectedly for everyone at the time of its announcement. It was effective, but not effective.
2. Hi-Fi Rush has been available in the Game Pass catalog since day one, so gamers have no incentive to buy the game.
The combination of these factors has led toHi-Fi Rush proved to be a highly acclaimed but financially unsuccessful game. And it's hard to blame the developers for this, because the game itself turned out great, but the publisher's decisions were unsuccessful.
Grubb mentioned that Microsoft is generally dissatisfied with the recent results of the Xbox division. What will this lead to – not yet known.
