Insider: Meta continues to work on smart watches with Android OS on board and a Qualcomm chip

In November 2022, it was reported that Meta had closed the smart watch project, but it seems that

it is not quite like that.

I agree with the dataminer and insider @Za_Raczke, the company closed the development of one prototype, but in general it still plans to release a smartwatch.

According to the leak, Meta engineers are working onnew prototype device. The gadget will receive a design in the style of smart watches Fitbit Sense 2 and Fitbit Versa 4, and will also come with a custom version of Android OS (not Wear OS). According to an insider, the novelty should work on a Qualcomm processor.

Unfortunately, there are no other details about the device yet. It is also unknown when Meta plans to release a novelty.
