Insider: Redmi K30 will receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 735 chip and a quad camera with a 64 megapixel main sensor

Recently, information appeared on the network that the Redmi K30 could be the first smartphone on the market to receive

a MediaTek processor with 5G, but it doesn't seem to be that way.

What is known

According to insider Sudhanshu Ambhor (SudhanshuAmbhore), the new product will still be equipped with a Qualcomm chip, instead of MediaTek. We are talking about the new SoC Snapdragon 735, which should be presented in early December along with the flagship chipset Snapdragon 865. The processor runs under the code number SM7250. He will receive a built-in 5G modem, as well as two productive Cortex-A76 cores with a frequency of 2.32-2.36 GHz and six energy-efficient Cortex-A55 with a frequency of 1.73 GHz.

Redmi K30 will be equipped with Snapdragon 735 (SM7250) 5G processor & a 64MP Quad camera setup.

In addition to the Qualcomm processor, the Redmi K30 is also credited with a main camera with four modules. The main sensor, according to an insider, will be at 64 megapixels.

When to expect

According to the head of Redmi, Lu Weibing, the smartphone will enter the market exactly next year, but the device will most likely be shown in the second half of December.
